Thinking I should probably start doing a basic block out of the environment before I make anything else...

Shtuffs

Seriously slacking with this thing and really trying to change that!

Here's some stuff I've been messing with, I've really accepted ZBrush as a tool and decided to give it a shot with integrating it into my workflow, here's what I ended up with:

Going to let this evolve in to an environment; more to come!

Figure Drawings 1

So wow, if there is one thing that has completely taken me out of my element, it is definitely figure drawings. It's kind of rough for me to look at these all together, but I can see progression through each one. I've been using this website to do each drawing so far, set at 10 minutes each:

Also make note that these are in order from the first drawing that was finished, to the most recent.

I am going to continue doing these drawings and hopefully keep a daily routine.

That's all for now!

Quick update! Wanted to play around with blending effects; model will eventually be apart of the first environment that I'll be working on.

Beginnings

Hello all! Starting one of these because I'm really interested in tracking my progress. The main objectives behind this blog is to post anything and everything that I work on, and to have it all in one place. Here's just some recent stuff.

I have some goals that I want to meet by the end of this year, and if I stick to them, I think the time span I'll be giving myself should bring some positive results:

- Create 3 solid environments (From concept painting, to final fully rendered and lit scene).
- Get a better understanding of perspective.
- Become faster at painting/drawing.
- Try to draw at least once a day.

Now it's just all about sticking to these! Hoping to update this thing at least once a week with progress shots/sketch dumps/etc.
